  In my photo there is a berry trifle, a lemon tart and a white-choc, fruit and nut slice. The lemon tart was the best I have ever tried; it wasn't overly sweet, it was deliciously tart with a real lemon hit!

  The Hairy Giraffe Cafe is a quirky and lovable little place. Situated in the small town of Margate, the Hairy Giraffe occupies an old church. You open the door and are greeted with fantastic smells, great decor and some of the most friendliest people I have come across. You immediately feel welcome! The food is fantastic! If you are vegetarian or vegan or gluten intolerant there are plenty of options for you, at a very reasonable price. Brekkie, lunch or a delicious treat, I am sure there is something here to satisfy most people! Oh and by the way you must try the Turkish Delight White Hot Chocolate...AMAZING!

  Having heard nice things about the cafe, we drove down from Hobart. I enjoyed the eggs benedict. The balsamic reduction was a nice touch. My friend enjoyed the pick your own breakfast, choose 6 from a list. We will go again.

  Amazing meal! Great pasta. Excellent little spot inside an old chapel. Well priced good all day breakfast option. Good looking treats also (not sampled)
